Lens Enhancements

We offer our patients and customers a variety of enhancements for their eyeglasses. The ones that are right for you will depend on how you plan on wearing your glasses, and our opticians can talk with you about the various options available.

  • Anti-Reflective Lenses

Almost anyone who wears glasses will benefit from anti-reflective (also called “non-glare”) lenses. This coating reduces the glare from overhead lights and other sources—and they’re a must for anyone who uses a computer monitor or other digital devices, as they significantly reduce eye strain. They are also great for night-time driving, as they improve eye comfort and clarity of your vision.

  • Polarized Lenses

Another popular option is adding a polarized lens to your eyeglass frame to create a great pair of sunglasses. Polarized lenses offer a variety of tint options and provide protection against the glare of the sun bouncing off water, snow and ice. Polarized lenses not only reduce glare, they make images appear sharper and clearer, increasing visual clarity and comfort

  • Transitions Lenses

Photochromic, also known as Transitions are also a popular choice among our patients who want the convenience of a single pair of glasses that adjust from clear indoors to dark outdoors. No matter where you are, or what situation you're in, photochromic lenses adapt to the perfect shade so you see with just the right amount of light.

Eyewear goes way beyond being a prescription. It's like makeup. It's the most incredible accessory. The shape of a frame or the color of lenses can change your whole appearance.
